In this session, we embark on a journey through the history of Arabic calligraphy, exploring its aesthetic and intellectual transformations since its inception, the diversity of its schools across the Middle East, and its unique presence in East Asia. We also highlight contemporary artistic experiences that have revived extinct scripts with a new spirit that blends the authenticity of heritage with the openness of culture.
